date ideas that don't center capitalist consumption

my roommate asked about less-spendy date ideas, so i made a list!

* free museums
* walking/hiking on the ridgeline
* foraging food
* hanging out around the lake
* bike rides
* busking
* wheatpasting subversive flyers
* hang out at sudoroom or double union
* make art
* gardening
* flowerbombing empty lots (especially with all this rain that will make them grow well)
* poetry readings
* picking up trash in public spaces (leave aluminum cans visible for people who need the exchange money of course)
* check out books you've never heard of from the library and read together
* bake cookies
* go thrifting
* contra dancing, of course
